I recently bought GTX 580 GPU and I want to connect it to my sound card.
My SC is Creative X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Pro and I want the GPU to output audio from it.
Basically, you can say I want to merge between the HD Audio driver of the GPU with the audio driver of the SC, so that audio will be played from only one device.
For example, I want to play a game and hear the same audio being played from both devices, like hearing sound from both the computer and a television.
I could do that with my previous GPU when I plugged-in a little connector from GTX 280 to the X-Fi card.
This even saved me from installation another audio driver and acted as like splitting the audio to the computer and to the TV.
GTX 580 doesn't have that plug connector.
