Asrock 870 Extreme3 R2.0

I bought the Asrock 870 Extreme3 R2.0 motherboard, which supports Crossfire. The problem is that the slots are PCI-Express x16 2.0 and all the latest Radeon cards are 2.1. Can I still use the new cards with the old slot? Is there any update to turn 2.0 into 2.1?

There is no difference between 2.0 and 2.1

All 2.1 cards will work fine in your board
