Hey,

What is the difference between:

Kingston HyperX "blu" DDR3 4GB PC1600 KHX1600C9D3B1/4G
and
Kingston HyperX DDR3 4GB PC1600 KHX1600C9D3/4G

The first supposed to be better because it is "blu" but in the data sheets they look the same...
And what is even more strange for me, the "blu" is 3$ cheaper but on the other hand it is not listed on supported list for my mobo Gigabyte A75-UD4H and the "non blu" KHX1600C9D3/4G is...

My processor is A8-3850 so I would like to overclock the memory as high as possible to get bigger IGPU performance.

So what to do, which should I buy?

The DIMMs may use different ICs but essentially they are the same.

With the A8-3850 CPU being new, I'd confirm with Kingston Tech Support that both models of RAM will work with your mobo/CPU as these are new items.

The RAM QVL list is a sample of RAM verified to work on your mobo but it's not usually up to date and there can be many more RAM Kits that have been certified to run with your CPU/mobo.
