I have an ASUS 5670 Card Tigerdirect Part number A455-5670 and my friend wants to get this card from a local PC shop EVGA 01G-P3-1373-AR GeForce GTX 460 SuperClocked Video Card - 1024MB GDDR5 and they are selling them for 200 dollars right now,the tigerdirect part number for the EVGA is E145-0469 SC .What he was wondering is the EVGA card much more powerful than the ASUS Card. Thanks for any help.
Of course..the HD5670 is an entry/budget level card; the GTX460 is a performance-end card. There's a huge difference between them in price, power, and power-consumption. That's like comparing an HD4850 to a GTX280, or, for the lovely car analogies, an SUV to a Porsche.
On the other hand, if he can go to an e-tailor, I'd get this card. One of the best overclockers and it's only $45 more.
Alternatively you could wait for the ATI's newer cards that are coming out relatively soon.
