What's better: Intel Celeron 900 @ 2.20 Ghz 2.19 Ghz or an Intel Pentium D 3.0 G

Is a Pentium D 3.0 GHz or AMD Athlon 64 3200+ or above, better or worse than a Intel (R) Celeron (R) CPU 900 @ 2.20 GHz 2.19 GHz? I am trying to install software for my web camera and I need to know if my computer is capable of running the application with out completely shutting down my system.

The Celeron is a newer CPU by a few years and is slightly better here http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu_lookup.php?cpu=Intel+Celeron+900+%40+2.20GHz It should work fine with your web cam
