6716f-B hp computer wont boot

Hello,
Just got a desktop 6716f-B HP and transferred files from hp laptop. Now new cpu won't boot...Tried everything I know

Getting a post screen? You can use a hardrive software disk; they will bypass the hardrive and boot up as long as your system is working. I use maxblast 5.0 to prep and clone drives. Have you tried reseting the bios by removing the board battery on the desktop board?
