Upgrade Info Needed: Compaq Presario SR5200WM.

Hello,

The only upgrade I've done so far, is add 2-2gb sticks of RAM. I have a new Athlon 64 X2 4800+ and a new replacement/stock heat-sink/fan plus an old 8600gt GPU sitting at the hose ready to go in.

Will all the above be able to run on the existing 250w PSU? And can I meet the minimum requirements to run Bad Company2 with the proposed set-up?

250w is normally just enough for a stock system, quality 400w to be on the safe side.

I figured as much, but figured I'd ask over here because this community seems to be the most helpful. I've lurked around here, but this is my first post.

I did buy a 650w PSU. I went to Comp USA and they were out of the 450w that was advertised. However; I couldn't get the darn thing to work, so I put the 250w back in and it fired right up. I'll take it back next week and see if I can get a 450w modular... it's really what I wanted anyway. I just couldn't resist a sale...lol.
