Hd 5770 512mb

Hello,
i am going to buy the radeon hd5770 and am not sure whether to buy the 512mb or 1gb version, in windows i can only select up to 1280x768 res, is this the max res i can go to and will a 512mb be sufficient for it? thanks in advance

o also i have an amd sempron 3200+ @ 1.8ghz.. would this get bottlenecked and if so could u guys recommend a cpu upgrade?

Is there any other memory differences? DDR3? DDR5?

on the gpu? there both GDDR5

cpu will bottleneck BADLY, but i mean REAL REAL BAD.


plus as far as i know all 5770s are 1gb, only one i can see is a powercolor 512mb on amazon and it's actually expensiver than the 1gb model, so it'd be stupid to get that.
