Help repair my E2180 after removing IHS !

Last week I followed some guides on the internet and successfully removed the IHS of my old cpu E2180. However, when i put it back in the mobo ( GA-945GZM-S2 ), it showed no sign of booting up. I tried another cpu ( E5700 ) and the system booted up.

+ 1 little scratch on the PCB,
+ The core die still new
+ No socket or pin damaged.

Can anyone help me ? ( BTW, i remembered i had once washed the cpu die with WATER but I let it dry for more than 3 days. )

Why on Earth did you remove the IHS?

I think you have a dead chip.

Check the die isn't cracked. Other than that, the CPU should be fine, unless the scratch has damaged something.
