I'd like to put some more RAM into my RAM for myIntel (R) Celeron (R) CPU 2.40 GHZ. It currently has only 480 MB of RAM. I'd like to have around 1 GB minimum. What type do I need? I tried 2 x 412 MB stiks which were 184 DIMM PC2700 CL 2.5....but they didn't work. What do I need for my system and indeed, how do I find out in future what I need for my system. Thank you for reading.

Ps Not quite sure which sub-category to put this under so forgive me if I get it wrong.

You can either use 2 new sticks for 1gb total or just add a stick of 512gb. I always suggest sticking with dual channel which means buying a matching pair.

CORSAIR 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit

Thanks again slcmike but how to you know that that is what's needed? Will 1GB be the max for this motherboard?
