890fx boards for new build

which do you think will be better in terms of ocing?

im picking between them for their dual x16 pci e 2.0 slots

cpu will be either 955 or 965

Asus for a couple of reasons.
Much much higher quality.
Better customer support IMO.
And a 3 year warranty vs a 1 year warranty.

^+1 - - Gigabyte works GREAT. And you'll find that all the best support comes from forums. Try getting Asus or some other manufacturer's representative to get back to you quickly and actually SOLVE a problem

or maybe your better off with this asrock 870 its cheaper and a recomended budget board, can xfire. x8/8x .Also you wont see much of a increase in x16/x16 only by 2% which is not so significant. so i recomend this board rather buying a 890fx.

I would stick with the Gigabyte boards, They're great for overclocking. Asrock is a budget board, ok if you're on a small budget but I wouldn't expect too much from them.
