More about 890fx boards build
  1. ^+1
Asus for a couple of reasons.
    Much much higher quality.
    Better customer support IMO.
And a 3 year warranty vs a 1 year warranty.
  2. Thanks!, yea thats what i was thinking too but wow $175 lol got save up for it
  3. No need to save this mobo http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128438&cm_re=890-_-13-128-438-_-Product

has the same quality as the asus if not better, and it's cheaper.
  4. ^+1 - - Gigabyte works GREAT. And you'll find that all the best support comes from forums. Try getting Asus or some other manufacturer's representative to get back to you quickly and actually SOLVE a problem :pt1cable:
  5. or maybe your better off with this asrock 870 its cheaper and a recomended budget board, can xfire. x8/8x .Also you wont see much of a increase in x16/x16 only by 2% which is not so significant. so i recomend this board rather buying a 890fx.
  6. I would stick with the Gigabyte boards, They're great for overclocking. Asrock is a budget board, ok if you're on a small budget but I wouldn't expect too much from them.
