Hey, I have a 5850 with the latest driver and a X1600 with its driver (WDDM) installed. Both work fine by themselves but when I'm I try them together the 5850 gets the error:
"Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)"

and the X1600 gets this error:
"This device cannot work properly until you restart your computer. (Code 14)

You need to restart your computer before the changes you made to this device will take effect.

Click Restart Computer to restart your computer."

Restarting does not fix the problem but from what I understand I should be able to run both of them at the same time. I have Windows 7 64 bit and both cards are PCI-E. I only want to run the X1600 to add an extra monitor.

cant you just run the monitors on the 5850?
it would probably save you a lot of trouble... :D

+2 run them both of the 5850, if your worried about performance, you will see minimum FPS differences if only running the game on one monitor.

Sorry, I didn't really clarify. I've got two running on the 5850 and I don't have a display port adapter so I was going to try using an old video card I had lying around.

Yes, I know I can run three on my 5850. I'll just have to buy and DP-DVI adapter since I can't get this dual video card problem fixed.
