My computer cannot recognize my internet card

My pc cannot connect to the internet because it cannot regocnize my router that is turned on,all the light are on(DSL-Ethernet etc).The problem is that my pc cannot regocnize my internet card on motherboard.so...what do I do to fix it??(thank god my brother has a pc and I log from here...or else )

Sounds like you need to install drivers for your NIC. Have you done that and can you see the device in device manager?
