Hi,

I have a philips desktop with 2 x 250gb sata hdd's and a dvd drive.

Ok so last night everything was running fine.
Turned computer on this morning and now im in a right pickle :sarcastic:
The first boot today I got message 'primary master drive - ATAPI incompatible

so after some 'research' on google I read to switch SATA mode in bios from 'enhanced' to 'compatible'
BIG MISTAKE

Now it wont boot past the 'philips' spash screen, no post, no windows..........
Please help all my coursework is on here!!

i'll just add ive tried booting with vista disk in dvd drive and wont boot either, nothing is booting.
is there a backdoor way into bios setup?

edit, reset bios with jumper, but still gertting atapi incompatible error, then goes to a screen 'no ntldr''
