Front Panel Audio Problems with Antec P183 Case

I recently built a system in an Antec P183 case and have a problem with the front audio when plugging in a headset with a microphone. The issue I have is that I get a buzzing / static in the headphones.

The issue does not occur if I plug the headphones into the back of my Creative X-FI card. It only occurs via the front panel, which is connected to the sound card.

It is interesting to note that when moving the mouse around the screen and clicking on desktop icons the buzzing noise increases.

Does that mean that the wires from the front panel are not shielded properly? Do you think I am getting some interferance from the Video card?

Is there a simple answer to this? Is there a fault with the front panel? Is there some interfaces from other front panel devices? Is the front panel grounded?

Any advice would be appreciated.
