Hello all,

I am trying to figure out which is the best out of the following.

Corsair TX750 (5 year warranty, meaning it is strong)(1x 12v rail @ 60A, nice!)
Huntkey X7 900 (Not sure about warranty)(5x 12v rails @ 18A each = 90A?)

Which is the better buy assuming I can get them for a similar price.

Hmm! i'm from Canada and Huntkey isn't exactly a household name for psu's.
I know about them but that's about it.
From this review it looks like a decent unit.

However a couple of things turn me off .
2yr warranty
85C caps on the secondary
It's by no means a 900W unit most likely a 750 or 800W.No mention of continuous watts.

On the otherhand the TX750 uses all 105C caps and features a 5yr warranty.
The 750W rating is continuous and peak is higher.
Personally i would buy a TX750V2, XFX 750, Antec TP750 if you can source one.
Known good units.

Lets see:
12 volts X 90 amps = 1080 watts

Max output at 12 volts is 75 amps.

Another question, what is the advantage (if any) of having a single 12v rail at a high amperage rather than muliple 12v rails at a lower amperage or visa versa?

the huntkey has a single rail that has been split multiple times, for pros and cons see below
