gskill sniper 8gb for 40 bucks...is this a good deal and is gskill a good quality brand?
ive read reviews about gskill ram...many good comments on them

btw, should i go for 16GB or 8GB? i dont see myself using 16GB for ram as it is really a no need for that much ram, unless ur doing video editing and stuff

40 bucks for 8gb gskill sniper . good buy?
or any other suggestions would b greatly appreciated :D

G-Skill is a great brand and 8GB is exactly what you are looking for.

Go with 1600MHz 1.5V RAM.

You will definitely need low profile RAM with the V8, the G-Skill might actually be too tall.

These are out of stock at the moment, but will definitely work and are great quality.

The snipers might be short enough to fit under the V8

The V8 should only cover slot 1, so if you use slot 2 and 4 on your MB you should be fine.

I've built several computers using G.Skill ram now, I've never had any issues with it. You can buy this brand with confidence, even if your unlucky enough to get a DOA set, if you look on newegg user reviews, they stand by their customers and resolve all issues. Because of this i choose to buy their ram for everyone one of my builds. I bought 16gb just today because i use After Effects and 3d Programs alot, but for a gaming pc 8GB should be fine if your money tight.
