CPU Minimum Requierments Help

The Logitech C510 is an HD Web Cam, in order to stream HD video, however, you must have at least an E6600 Core 2 Duo (2.4Ghz 4Mb L2)

Well I am getting deployed and I need a laptop that can handle the challenge, as well as play Games.

New Egg Has a re-certified ASUS G series with a P8700 (2.53 Ghz 3MB L2) with a GTX 260m for a nice price, does the P8700 have enough pony's to push the web cam as well as COD Black Ops?


I can Also get a military discount through AAFES on dell products, They have an Insprion 15R Core i3 370m (2.4 Ghz 3Mb L3) and an ATi HD Mobility 5650 for about the same price.

(I prefer ATi)

and need something cheap, any suggestions?

For gaming I would get the Asus!

^Agreed, the Asus has a better GPU that will push pixels better and run BO better. Both laptops will run the webcam without problems.

Ok, Thanks... I know the asus would run BO better but the dell will b brand new and the asus re-certified... I was leaning towards the dell b/c of warrentty as well as the ATi card. I have a GTS 250m w/ a Core i7 820QM (Flacon NW) that im giving my gf to use when I leave bc i know the sand will kill it... I just got a little scared when I turned off 4 therads of the i7 and it spiked PU sage to 87% I wasnt sure if they would be able to handle HD chat

I am happy w/ my gts250m w DDR3 so from what I read on notebook check, the ATi HD 5650 should perform about the same, that with the i3 should give me pretty awsome battery life compared to the ASUS?
