thanks for repying ...
i have configured my router so that it can go online on its own.
by default LAN is enable in router, how can i turn off the LAN in router?
i can only turn off lan adapter in my laptop.
I didnt got your point sir. and disabling the lan in computer didnt helped. Router cannot sustain itself for 2 mins when i turn on the wifi . It restarts every 2mins and as soon as wifi is turned off in router start working well. HE is played games with my patience....
My warrenty is over and i fear if my router is near to its grave. :(

I was refering to the Network adapter in your computer. Sorry for the confusion.
What is the Wireless router model number your using?
What Wireless adapter are you using in the laptop?
What OS is running on the Laptop?
Do you have any other wireless devices around?
Can you tell if it's the adapter disconnecting or the router disconnecting?

1. Router - ITI DNA - A211
2. wireless adapter- I have Dell inspiron 1545, with 1397WLAN half mini card
3. Vista
4. i had my sister's laptop with win 7, thats a new dell inspiron 14 R model, tried with it, same story.
5. Its the router getting disconnected and restarting on its own. I can notice all the ligts on the router starting blinking,
I already hard-reseted the router, but no success......
