how to unlock number light on Thinkpad T41

I have one laptop which has some problem in the key lock.

There are a series of light to the bottom of screen:

wireless network, number lock "1", caps lock "A", and some other
lights.

I could press "Caps Lock" to lock/unlock caps lock "A" light.

But I couldn't unlock number lock "1" light, so that I couldn't enter
characters like "UIOPJKL" and etc.
