Hey, folks.

I'm buried up to my neck in web pages for hardware I own and prospective purchases and I'm trying to make some decisions. One of the motherboards I'm looking at has Radeon HD 4250 onboard with the 880G chipset and I understand it's adequate for Blu-Ray and other 1080p content, but I don't know if the size of the display is an issue (I'm assuming it has to be). I'd like to know what kind of resolution and performance I can expect on a 40" 1080p tv.

TYVM,
Mike

Thanks, man. I really don't know anything about this stuff. :p

Just out of curiosity, what resolutions can be displayed by the HD4200?

I have the radeon 4250 on my msi motherboard, it plays 1080p flawlessly, its decently powerful for integrated video, no discrete card upgrade will really do you any good if you are only using 1 1080p display, really most modern integrated video is more than sufficient for playing 1080p the ddr2 hd 4200 motherboard that i had prior also played movies perfectly at 1080p
