Looks good except the memory is for triple channel. I think the board you picked is dual channel ddr3.

At this point of time bang for buck AM3/DDR3 i would configure as such

a. 8/8 790X/Asrock 870 + HD 6850CF
b. single GTX 570 + any AM3 770/785G/880G/870

I would go with this card which is about the same price as the 2 5870 you were looking at. 5970 all the way

I decided to go with the 5970. I had completely overlooked that one actually. Thanks for the input. Also, I hadn't realized about the memory I had chosen. Time to find a different set!
