Sound Drivers won't work Maximus IV Gene-Z

Hello,

I just installed Windows 7 on my new gaming pc but the sound won't work at all. I tried everything. Installing the sound drivers, going into Device Manager to manually install my sound card but nothing works.

Help please! Thank you!

you have a sound card or you are using the maximus boards sound? did you goto bios and enable the hd audio?

Did you install them from a disk or get the most recent ones online? Getting them online is better and might help.

Hi! Problem is fixed. It wasn't enabled in the BIOS. ASUS Tech support is not very bright. I spent half hour with them trying to figure it out and the rep did not know what to do.
