I have already upgraded my 1gb RAM to 2gb DDR2 on my vaio netbook vpcm13m1e, but can i get a ddr3 type higher ram and a higher processor than the one I have atom n470 1.83 ghz

you can't put ddr3 ram in a ddr2 slot

And the processor, I've got the 1.83 atom, can i upgrade to a higher spec

Sorry, I missed that part. I'd have to open it up and look, but you almost certainly can't upgrade the processor. Atom processors are usually soldered to the motherboard and cannot be removed. Your best bet is buying a new laptop.

Thanx for that, I've just recently bought the netbook, I also have a 15.6" vaio. Just wanted to get it goin a bit faster, but I think I've got the best netbook I can have now with my 2gb RAM. What other upgardes r there that I can have?

The biggest laptop upgrade is usually an SSD, but I don't know if a 2.5" drive will fit in a netbook. SSD's are also pretty expensive.
