Hi guys hope everyone enjoy their Black Friday

Here is my question, sadly i just purchased some Corsair Vengeance 16GB Memory.
I didn't realize how big the heat spreaders we're. I sure hope i don't encounter a problem.
I've attached an image close up between my heatsink & RAM.

I keep thinking it may fit around my massive zalman cpu cooler or maybe not..

I just want to hear what you guys think about it...

Thank you again
Have a great weekend.

Those Vengance heat spreaders are way bigger than they need to be. You definitely don't want there to be any lateral force on the RAM - i.e. you don't want the cpu cooler to push on the RAM. The heat spreaders don't really do anything except look cool and they will come off, but that obviously has it's problems. You could accidentally damage the RAM and you will definitely void your warranty.

Otherwise though...probably just out of luck.

U should get the low profile RAM. I gotten 16GB LP kit from Newegg. Should not have any differences in terms of performance.

Anyway, it even if the CPU Heatsink is touching the RAM Heatsink, I dun think there will be any issue.
