Approximate Purchase Date: By years end.

Budget Range: No higher than $1200 if possible.

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming almost exclusively. Multiple programs running constantly in background, Web, Music

Parts Not Required: Keyboard, Mouse

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: ncix.com, newegg.com, or any other reputable site if it cuts cost for other upgrades

Country: USA

Parts Preferences: My hope was to make this as portable as possible without sacrificing any specs. It does not really matter either way though.

Overclocking: I have zero experience overclocking but would like the option to try.

SLI or Crossfire: Yes, I do not know too much about the difference between the two though. Feel free to suggest anything.

Monitor Resolution: As much as possible. It will be hooked up to my 55" Plasma quite a bit as well.

Additional Comments: If there is room for SSD than I would like that for added as well. While I know this will be a mid-grade PC at best, I would like it to be upgradable in the future. Feel free to suggest anything I have not listed. Thanks again!

Prices are changing a bit, and new models are being released, so u will get better response on Black Friday or after the New years night. But this is something to thing about.

a good build but i would suggest the following changes-
change the mobo to this one-
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157271
it has pci-e 3.0,SLI etc. for less money.save here.
change the cooler to this one-(mugen 3 is great but why to pay more if you can do in less??!!!!!)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103099
560ti sli will no room for future upgrades.they will beat a single 580 but still no upgrades in near future for newer games.so a gtx is enough to play anything
at 1080p(i am also using a single 580 and it runs every game at ultra settings).get this one-
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814162073
i recommended this one because recently a friend of mine brought this.it is better better than twinfrozer III(in terms of cooling).cool and quiet card for high performance.
hdds are really rocketing due to some disasters in thailand.not sure but this is not a good time to buy a HDD.grt this ssd for now-
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814162073
it is a good fast and reliable ssd.i am using it at present.plz try not to use the full drive.i will try my best to find you a good HDD for less price.

this system should max out any game at 1080p(not sure about bf3 but most probably it will see benchmarks).you can upgrade it to newer components especially ivy bridge and pci-e 3.0 cards and all.sorry for HDD.i will find it ASAP. :hello:

I have another question about this build if someone can help. When I add these items to the cart, sometimes it asks about adding another piece together as a combo to save. I get a bit intimidated when I start adding the pieces to the cart and dont wanna screw up and miss a saving.

Heck, if I save enough maybe I can get a monitor too!

Thanks for all who have helped and have yet to help :)
