hey people. I'm looking to find some kind hearted angel who'd be
willing to give away a laptop (used if necessary) to someone in great
need of one but cannot afford it. The internet is my only link to the
outside world as i just about never get to leave my house for health
reasons, and havent left it in the past 8 months; and all that is under
threat as the laptop i use is faulty and will pack up anytime soon and
no hope of getting a replacement. I'm really desperate here so i hope i
find me an angel out there with a big heart to "save a soul... please
respond to mkanayo2020@yahoo.com if you are that angel.

Why does it have to be a laptop? There's alot of surplus, older desktop
machines out there that people would give away. Desktops are easier to
maintain (less expensive) as well.

HI, a laptop is much preferable because for a desktop i will have to be
sitting on a wheelchair for the time i will be surfing and this i
cannot do. I'm not very uncomfortable sitting on it and i begin to get
serious pains in my back when i get to sit for long and that's why most
times im on my bed or in the living room couch. And in which case it
still will be very difficult to sit at a desktop shile on a couch, lots
of obstacles.

You are probably not for real with an email address like the one you
have, but, on the off-chance that you are, you should go to Yahoo, sign
up for the Yahoo group FreeCycle in your area, and post your request
there. Maybe someone could help you.

I'm in a situation close enough to this that I can at least sort of validate
it. I'm not in a wheel chair but I have health problems and I find it
nearly impossible to sit at my desktop computer for very long. I managed to
get a laptop a few months ago and that has made it possible for me to both
enjoy the internet again and be free of pain.
I'm not looking for another laptop. I have an adequate one. But I thought
my experience might make this a little more believable. I was suspicious on
first reading it as well but I think I believe it.
