My case front has USB-3 which comes out as a 20-pin connector. Of course my mobo does not have the 20-pin USB socket so I need an adapter to the 9-pin USB on the motherboard.

I've seen posts where the solution is to go through 3 adapters and use a pci-express slot, that's NOT what I want. I just want a straight wired adapter; I should say, I want a SECOND one, I already have one:

It came with my Cosair case, but I can't find another one anywhere.

Well I decided to RMA my motherboard in exchange for a more expensive one with 20-pin USB 3.0 on the board since the above simply adapts to USB 2.0 and since this adapter doesn't seem to be in evidence... still, if you find one post- someone else may be looking.

What is your mobo?

Does it have the USB3?
