The title kinda says it: I'm going to built my pc (first time building one), so I' ve selected some parts..., read reviews from the parts here, and this is what I came up with:

EVGA GeForce GTX 460 Ftw 1gb
212,73
Processor Intel® Core™ i7 950
250,05
PSU Corsair 850HX (I' m planning to do a future sli upgrade of my 460)
Price: 148,84
Case Cooler Master COSMOS S /OR cosmos 1000... Still not sure about it.
Cosmos S price: 173,91
Cosmos 1000 price: 173,75
Mboard: ASRock X58 Extreme
Price:148,65
harddisk: Hitachi 7k2000 (2tb)
Price: 115,98
Ram: Kingston ValueRAM 6 GB DDR3-1333 Tri-Kit
Price: 68,38
^ (I still have an operating system of windows seven home edition 64bit (got 2 keys left:) )
hp2510i monitor: 240,-
Total:1358,51
A bit over my budget but thats ok :)
(all prices in euro's), found on : tweakers.net
What my questions are:
1: Is it better to buy a i7 950, i7 930, or i7 920? (the 950 is the cheapest one?) (if you have anything else that fits in my budget just sprout it out ;D)
2: Do you suggest swapping a part for something else? (If so what :) )

Thanks in advance... (I hope:p)

What country?

Here's two other options:

Get the i-5 760 + a 1156 SLI/CF motherboard like the
- ASRock P55 EXTREME4
- ASUS P7P55D-E Pro
or
Get the Phenom II X4 955/965
with a CF mobo like the
- ASRock 880G EXTREME3
- ASRock 890GX Extreme3
- ASUS M4A89GTD PRO
- GIGABYTE GA-890GPA-UD3H
- ASUS M4A89GTD PRO/USB3

RAM:
2x2GB DDR3 1600 FOR Intel
2x2GB DDR3 1333 or 1600 for AMD (1333 is fine since the AMD Black Edition CPUs have the multiplier unlocked and you can overclock them easily without messing with the RAM).

HDD: Samsung Spinpoint F3.

For the video card you can get a GTX 470 or a HD 6870 for the Intel and a HD 6870 for the AMD but better wait a few days, AMD is about to release two new cards on 15th this month and that will drive the prices down. With all that you will be able to get the new HD 6950 or the GTX 570 and forget about SLI/CF, you can get a cheaper mobo, those cards are powerful enough.

For gaming the video card matters much more than the CPU. A cheaper CPU with a HD 6870/GTX470 is superior to a more expensive CPU with a GTX460/HD6850.

For gaming and whatnot you don't need more than 4G of RAM, also 6GB kits are triple channel - only for the 1366 platform.

Samsung is a much better brand than Hitachi and the F3 are very good. Better get a 500GB one for the OS and a 1TB one for storage rather than a 2TB one.

I'm not only building this thing to game :).

Alright, you got me on the samsung thing :D

But on the gpu thing:
I'm planning to stick another 460 ftw 1gb in there not very long after I build this rig:
As far as I've seen so far: The gtx 460 in sli is a really good combination.... :
http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforce-gtx-460-sli-geforce-gtx-480,2694.html
^and I'm buying an pre-overclocked+1gig version of the 460...
It'll be 425,26 Total ( for the two cards)
The thing is: I don 't have 425,26 right now to buy both of them, I'll have that by.. februari I think :)
(I'm still going to school ( 15 years old), not working  )
Ah well.. yh :p

OK, if you're doing video editing and stuff you can get the i-7.

For a few € more you can get the better HD 6870:

http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/268658/xfx-hd-6870-1024-mb-ddr5-displayport-%28hd-687a-znfc%29.html

http://www.legitreviews.com/article/1445/7/

Or a cheaper overclocked HD 6850:
http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/270342/sapphire-toxic-hd-6850-1gb-gddr5-pcie.html
http://tweakers.net/pricewatch/273150/xfx-radeon-hd-6850-1024-mb-ddr5-displayport-black-edition.html

You said you want to add a second video card. The GTX is better because that card is heavily overclocked. Once you overclock the 6870 you get ahead. Also the FTW consumes more than 200W as opposed to the 151W of the 6870. But get whatever you like.

the i7 950 is more than enough so thats fine. maybe you should go for a cheaper gtx 460 and overclock it yourself. its very easy to overclock graphics cards.

@ mosox, yh I know... Thanks though:D

@ infernox:
It's my first build.....
I have no experience on overclocking or whatsoever.... So well yh :(
