I've heard to get the full quality out of the HD595s you need a sound card or amplifier for them. Right now I have a recently built computer with integrated sound. I would buy a sound card but I've read many reviews saying they've had awful problems using them with Vista and Windows 7. Can anybody recommend anything guaranteed to improve quality w/o problems? Preferably less than $100??

any sound card that is 100$ or under will not be amplified. those are 200-600$ or more for a good one.

AuzenTech Bravura PCI-E 7.1 is a higher quality card but costs $120.
i've seen them on good sales under $100.

Worse case scenario if you don't like the headphone performance of the Asus DG is you''re only out about $30 and it will still sound better then onboard through speakers.
