Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 or AMD Phenom II X6 1055T?

So, I'm looking at CPU's for my first build, and I'm torn between the AMD Phenom II X6 1055T and the Intel Core 2 Duo E7500.
Any ideas?

The Phenom II X6 would definitely be better. Phenom II is about as fast clock per clock as Core 2, but the 1055T has 3x the amount of cores. This would make it 3 times faster in workloads that could use the 6 cores on the Phenom though most programs today only use maybe 4 cores or less, but that is still increasing.

If you could afford to get a Sandy Bridge 2500k, that would definitely be better than both.
