Upgrading from 32bit to 64bit

hey guys i have recently purchased a pc with 8 gigs of ddr3 ram as we all know that to use the 8 gigs of ram u will need the 64 bit version. but due to my previous ignorance i bought the 32 bit version. now how can i erase this version and install the 64 bit version cleanly . i know how to install but wat im really intersted in is a clean erase.

if u guys can privide a guide it will be perfect

Hi TAREKWM,

All u need for gaming is Win7 x64 home premium. What version do u have, OEM?

i have window 7 32 bit home premium. but im thinking to go for 64 bit ultimate. wat do u think. plus if u can tell me how to cleanly erase the winows( new no programs on it) ill be happy

ok u conviced me thx for the info guess ill buy 64bit home premium. but u still didnt tell me how to erase my vurrent windows cleanly

When you do a new install it should ask you to format drive.
