tecra a2 restore question

Archived from groups: comp.sys.laptops (More info?)

I have a Toshiba Tecra A2. It shipped from Toshiba with no restore disk
(you're supposed to burn one yourself from the machine). It wouldn't burn
properly and the whole thing crashed. Toshiba tech support is useless.

I'd appreciate any advice re how to go about getting a restore disk
(downloads, etc.). I'm a novice at this, and hope I've given the necessary
info.
