HD video editing.

Hi guys,

I'm not sure if this is the right category to post this in, but since it has something to do with graphics I'll just post it here for now.

I'm trying to help a client edit HD videos with pinnacle studio 11, and whenever I try to edit a video the whole laptop just crashes.
I think it might have something to do with the specifications, I know they're not ideal but can anyone verify if this setup will be able to do HD video editing.

Core 2 duo T5550 1,83GhZ.
Nvidia geforce 8600 M GS 256MB.

Thanks in advance,

Michael Pitt.

There's no error message or something?
Tried another software? If the other software are fine then probably you have a problem with the pinnacle studio itself...

Or you can try re-install driver or upgrade it with the latest one...

Thanks for the quick reply, other software is giving me the same issues.
and the pc just stops and doesn't respond to anything, no error messages or anything. and yes I do have the latest nvidia drivers installed.

Well, it could be anything...
You can do some Memory test with MemTest software, there's many of them on the internet...
Also check your components temp, it could be an overheating...
