Upgrade component suggestions

Well it's time to bring out the upgrade elves. I've run my current machine well past its prime.

AMD Athlon 3200+
Gigabyte GA-K8NS
ATI Radeon 9200 128mb
2gb DDR400

So here is where I call in all you EXPERTS

I want to be able to play COD4 and COD Black Ops mainly. What is the most economical way of upgrading the above components to play these games well? Previously I only played MOH Allied Assault and my system got me by but I obviously cannot even load COD4.

Build a completely new machine. That's really all there is to do. Everything listed there is at least two generations behind, so nothing can or should be carried into a new build.

I'd suggest scrapping together around $550 and getting:

CPU/GPU: X3 450 and HD 5770 $191 after rebate
Mobo: ASRock 870 Extreme 3 $95
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws 2x2 GB DDR3 1600 mhz CAS Latency 7 $70
HDD/PSU: Samsung Spinpoint F3 1 TB and Antec Earthwatts 650W $125
Case: Rosewill Blackbone $40
Optical: Cheapest SATA DVD burner $17
