Hi there
I have just bought a GIGABYTE 990FXA-UD3 mb and a AMD Phenom II Six-Core 1100T 3.3GHz.
I have my sights set on a set of
Corsair CMX4GX3M2B2000C9 4GB 2x2GB DDR3 2000MHZ 240pin

At the site
http://download.gigabyte.us/FileList/Memory/memory_ga-990fxa-ud3.pdf
it says that I could use this ram for the mb.
I plan to upgrade the cpu at a later stage to FX-8170 bulldozer. I rember reading that it can use 2000mhz ram.
Also I would like to put in a EVGA GeForce GTX 570 HDMI Dual-DVI

Not sure what size power supply to use.
I will have about 2 or3 sata drives.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated

Kind regards
Tiaka

Thanks for your reply
I have just read that the Phenom II Six-Core 1100T only takes ddr3 1333 mhz ram.
I will be hopefully able to overclock to 1600. If I do that would the Phenom II Six-Core be able to handle that or should I just stick with 1333 as the default?
Cheers

Hi there, I have recently purchased the same mobo, very pleased with it. I've got a Phenom2 x4 955, only slightly OC'd and it works a treat. Make sure you check the BIOs on Gigabyte site for the latest version too.
