Xonar D1 dolby digital live and z5500 shows only stereo.

Hi.

I upgraded my on-board sound with the Xonar D1 sound card and set it up with the optical to the z5500.

Movies work amazing with DTS and DD pass through and I see on the Z5500 the effect, dts or digital depends on the movie played.

How can I get games audio to be encoded to Dolby digital live ? I already set in the Xonar audio center the SPDIF Out to Dolby Digital Live.

My Z5500 shows only stereo so I guess the encoding doesn't take place.


Anyone knows?

You know it doesn't make sense. How are the analog connectors relevant here?

Yea I have it set on Dolby Digital Live. (Out of 2 choices, pcm and ddl).

Anything else that can cause me to see only stereo on the z5500?
