I'm looking for any comments on HP's new business notebooks, such as the
NX6110 series. I need a basic notebook to use while on business trips to
keep up with word processing and spreadsheet work, as well as checking
my e-mail. No heavy graphics work is required, but would like to have
something reasonably rugged to withstand the rigors of air travel.
The NX6110 looks like a good choice for me. Any comments on this new
line of HP Compaq notebooks?

Yes, go with a "real" business class notebook, anything from IBM will do the
job. They are overbuilt, include lots of extras for those on the go, and the
quality is much better.

HP or IBM, can't go wrong with either. Dell's are good, but overated and
you'll spend extra for the 'marketing tax'.
