First timer..need help pls

hi,
I rly like to try building my own computer asap since my hp pavilion sucks so bad...and found this site. like the title say i have never done this before..

I need every parts including window 7 to start with but i already have keyboard, mouse and hp 2009m monitor. (for computer case, i see those smaller ones and wonder it would work on my new pc this time but if it limits upgrade ability for parts or any downside ill just go with regular case)

I have been using newegg.com so will like to use them this time as well.

I will need something for online gaming (mostly mmorpg like aion and possibly something more advance in future) net surfing and watching movies.




my budget is $500-600.
