While there's no doubt that you can make a computer on [almost] any budget, a $350 *gaming* computer is a little.. contradictory. What about $500?

-at least, from my experience, 350 is a little low...

CPU
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... (OEM means it won't come with a heatsink, it's the processor and the processor only)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... (I think you might want to go with this one for the sake of simplicity and ease)

MOBO
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... (This ASRock has some CPU utilities that can help you unlock the fourth core on those 3-core CPU's and then even OC them a little bit for you)

GPU
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
or any ATI Radeon 5770 that's below $120 for that matter...

Basically for any budget gaming rig go with AMD, and for your budget the Athlon II line should do you fine.
