I never used a Graphic card before but since i brought a new HDTV i want to watch all HD movies from my Pc connected to my new HDTV. I actually won't be doing any Gaming.

I have 945GCT-HM Mother Board with Intel 945GC Chipset it has a PCI Express x16 slot

I have 2 Questions

Will a PCI express 2.0 or 2.1 Graphic Card work on Pci Express x16 motherboard ?

Which ATI RADEON HD 4800, 4600, 4500, 4300 Series with HDMI port, support my PCI Express x16 Motherboard ?

The HD5670 is a gaming card and is overkill if you will just be watching movies. Even an HD4350 would be fine for that.

HD5570 is still $75-80. Even onboard graphics can handle what he is asking about. I guess he could go for an HD5450 for something newer but unless he will be bit streaming audio to a receiver I don't think it matters much.

Yes, you are right jyjjy, the OP isn't gaming at all, so HTPC card like HD5450 is just enough...
