GA 880GMA USB3 HDMI 5.1

I have the Gigabyte GA-880GMA-USB3 and can only get 2 chanel stereo via HDMI. Not good for HTPC. Is the motherboard capable of 5.1 via HDMI?
If so, how do you get it to ouput 5.1?

how many channel you've connected?
already setup channel more than 2 in audio configuration panel?

Got it working.
Appears the Receiver MUST be on before turning on the PC. I guess mother board detects what's connected to it? Anyway setup 5.1 in Realtech's hometheater software and it's working and sounds great!
