How extreme a budget and what you intend to get out of the upgrade (what tasks/uses) would be most helpful

I need to do it under 200 if possible. here is the CPU-z stats

Specification Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 1.70GHz
cores and threads say 1

Manufacturer is BIOSTAR group
model is m7sxf

I use it mainly for gaming and music, music more than anything and it gets hung up if i try to both most times.
I thank you for your help and look forward to your answer.

What kind of gaming? The only thing a pentium is going to be able to handle, game wise, is nothing. Black Ops is 4 core optimized, so.. yeah. TF2/Source games are optimizing for more cores as the updates pour on. And, you get my drift. I think 200$ isn't going to get you much, but try doing a motherboard/CPU/RAM upgrade with AMD. That's really the needed upgrades.

Of course, if your playing flash games... Then, the Pentium probably can handle it.

So yes, your assumtion is right, you probably should replace 3 parts you and i stated.

This should do it below, the mobo has onboard video soo... Which should be better than any graphics card you have now.
