Problems with Gigabyte Radeon 5850

I have 2 gigabyte Radeon HD 5850's. 1 is a GV-R585D5-1GD-B, the other is a GV-R585OC-1GD. The problems I have encountered are:

1. When I plug in 3 monitors, the monitor(s) plugged into the GV-R585OC-1GD flicker when you click on anything on the other monitor(s) which are plugged into the GV-R585D5-GD-B.

2. If I crossfire the two cards and run starcraft with multiple monitors plugged in, certain units randomly disappear if you move them.

Any help is appreciated. Drivers are up to date.

To run three monitors with crossfired cards I think you have to have all three cards plugged into the primary card and one has to be using the DP.

Well if I have both monitors plugged into the dvi ports on the primary card when crossfired I run into the same problem.

Overclock the GV-R585D5-GD-B slightly to match the clocks of the other card. Also make sure that the CF bridge is installed properly. Matching the clock speeds exactly should help minimize those problems.

If you want to use 3 monitors it's best to use display port, or at least an active DP converter, to enable eyefinity.
