My personal opinion is that the Asrock board is an excellent choice. Asrock is/was an off-shoot of Asus that made their OEM boards for PC manufacturers. But lately they have come into their own with fine products. Of course, a DOA board is possible from any company. I have had boards from many manufactures including AsRock. I like them. The board you chose will handle 2 graphics cards in Xfire at full x16 speed, if you choose to go that route. The only drawback is you won't be able to do SLI. If you want the option of doing SLI as well as Xfire, you may want to look into a similar board that does both.

Thanks :D I won't really need SLI right away. I am starting off with the http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130590 so I will be fine for a while :D
