I just found myself around 1000€ to buy a pc, and I'm thinkin about something like this(starting from another thread I found a pair of steps from here):

I'm also gonna need a power supply and a monitor.

Someone told me that I should get a 965 as a cpu, cause it is better for gaming. Is that true?

Any suggestions? thanks in advance.

If u only game and dun render/encode/vid edit/compile then yes just the 955BE would be fine along with 4GB DDR3 ^^

HD 6870CF would be fine on a beefy 80+/80+ bronze 650W PSU

Nice big juicy display often under estimated for gaming experience so for me min a 23" 1920 x 1080 :p
