Hello,
I am looking for a high resolution monitor with the following (nominal) specs: size 19-23"; 1600x1200 resolution at above 60Hz, 75Hz typical; dot pitch as low as possible, that is, less than 0.27mm. Any recommendations on "the best" 2D graphics cards would be useful, too.

thanx folks

Those monitors are pretty good. I have their bigger brother, the 25.5" NEC LCD2690WUXi.

If you are looking for the lowest pixel pitch, then I recommend the 20.1" NEC LCD2090UXi-BK-SV. It is more expensive than the 21.3" LCD2190UXp-BK because it is the "SV" version.

SV = SpectraVision which is a hardware colorimeter for NEC's monitors. If you see any of their monitor with the "SV" moniker, then that means it comes with a colorimeter as well.

If you want the LCD2090UXI-BK without "SV" then you can buy it for $776...
