Do I need a particular kind of cable to obtain a resolution of 1920x1200 on monitor? I'll be using ASUS 6970 card and Dell U2410 monitor?

Are some better than others? Just a newbie trying to learn. Thanks.

For a short run (6-12 ft) any DVI or HDMI cable will be fine, if you want to make a longer run(30 ft) then a high quality HDMI cable would be a better choice.
"high speed" indicates that its a Category 2 HDMI cable, they are tested at a higher frequency and better suited for longer runs at high resolution. They are usually built with slightly better materials than Category 1 cables, but there are a lot of cables that arent marked as high speed that will do just fine as one.
