Hello , this is my first build so i am no expert. I have been changing this build couple of times so hopefully this one is good. Just wanted some feedback on it and help on deciding on RAM and GPU.
now that christmas i comming overclockers do all sorts of special offers, this CORSAIR XMS3 RAM 3x 2GB tripple channel 1600mhz RAM is fo £65 same as 4gb of g- skill ram. which one should i go with .
Also the new 69xx series just cam out. What do you think of the 6950 only like £20 more than the 6870? ? which one should i go with is the 6950 worth the extra £20 pounds ? ?
THanks in advance.!!

PLEASE HELP !!

CPU - If you plan to overclock, the 955 will OC just the same as the 965 and may save you some £.

MEM - You don't need a tripple channel memory kit for an AMD rig. Go with either 4GB (2x2GB) or 8GB (4x2GB or 2x4GB). I would choose the G-Skill (CL7) over Corsair (CL9), but the Corsair will work fine.

GPU - Go ahead and opt up for the 6950 if it fits in your budget.

Monitor - Good and all, but you may consider a monitor that also has an HDMI input.

I just got a 955 BE with that 212+ cooler (only 1 fan on it)... Overclocked to 3.8ghz without changing the voltage (1.36v), running at 44*c! I'd save the money on the CPU and get 4x2gb ram OR 2x4gb ram.

I also just got the Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB (32mb cache) on amazon for $55.
