Build:
CPU: I5-2500k (Cooler: Xigmatek balder 2xFan)
Mobo: Asus P8P67 Pro
Ram: 2x2GB G.Skill Ripjaws X 1600 Cl6
GCard: MSI TFII 560TI
HDD: 2xSata II WD HDD
Case: NZXT Tempest EVO
Accessories: 2xLamptron cathode's

The question is after all this, and running the 6 case fans will the Corsair HX-650W Run,
2 MSI 560TI TFII?
Or
2 XFX 6950's 1GB?

Which would perform better?

Solution
A very good rule of thumb is 650watts for just about an SINGLE card....

And, 850watts for just about any DUAL card setup...........

I used the Antec PS calulator for your system: (NO overclocking the CPU or video cards...)

http://www.antec.outervision.com/PSUEngine

- 486watts (560 Ti, look like your already have one so, just buy a second it will be awesome)
- 476watts (6950s)

If you want to OC your CPU to say, 4Ghz add 135watts, this puts you at 621watts out of 650watts (harder than I would push a supply)

As the supply ages, it will get weaker 20% capacitor aging adds 125watts...

That said your Corsair HX650 isn't your typically 650 watt supply. It has a 52A 12 volt rail that will work fine under gaming loads with dual cards...

----- OC that CPU
----- and only for 3 or 4 years (till capacitor aging starts to kick in...)

Interesting, i didnt know there was a program that tested this sort of stuff. nice to know.

I was looking at overclocking both the Card and CPU soo i dont think this power supply will do.

Any recommendations for 800/850W Power supplies in this price range?

Oo oo

What about this? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817815013

i live in Australia so the cheapest i can find is $148

Its got everything i would need, whats your thoughts on quality from a Xigmatek PSU?
Although it has 2 8-Pin cpu connectors :S i could probably shove one behind the motherboard tray.

rolli59 the two you provided for me are sadly in the $160/180 I have stretched my budget far enough already, Thanks anyway.

I love the Corsair 850HX supplies because they remain dead silent to almost 600watts...

http://www.corsair.com/power-suppl [...] x850w.html

They also put out 70A on a single rail, that's 840watts on the +12volt rail ALONE.... (a spec more typical of a 900 or 950 watt supply)

NOTE: I'd avoid the HX1000, it's any older split rail design that gets hotter and louder above Just 500watts

If you want to go over the top, the new AX1200 with 100A on the +12volt rail ... (good to know if you need to use it to do the odd bit of arc welding on your cars frame)

Check my profile, I'm powering an SLI & a Crossfire system (both OC i7-900 series systems) with the HX850's
